Experience

Over the last 20 years DOMTEC has designed and constructed monolithic concrete bulk storage domes the world over, continually applying new engineering construction methods and technology. Nearly all our personnel have been with us since our inception. We have built domes on 5 continents and 24 of the 50 states in the United States of America for the mining, biomass and cogeneration power, agricultural and cement industries. Domes store hundreds of thousands of tons of product like precious metals, frack (frac) sand, ore, slag, minerals, wood products like pellets and chips, fly ash, limestone, fgd gypsum, coal, fertilizers, potash, urea, grains, wheat, soybean meal, sugar, peanuts, cement powder and clinker.

When compared with conventional flat storage, metal buildings or concrete silos, domes will have a longer life-cycle, lower maintenance cost, and in most cases a smaller storage and reclaim cost per ton of product.
